John E. Jacobs American Legion Post 68 strives to enhance the well-being of Leland’s veterans, their families, and our community by virtue of devotion to mutual cooperation and helpfulness. Currently, our post membership totals 250+ veterans representing all branches of the US military. As a growing post, we continue to dedicate ourselves to building a strong base of veterans in northern Brunswick County and servicing their collective needs. |

Post 68 Golf Scramble Information:Dust off your golf clubs and join us for a day full of fun and friendly competition and support local veterans, youth, and community programs. A great day of golf, networking, and fun is waiting for you! This event is inclusive for golfers and non-golfers alike - all skill levels are welcome. The John E. Jacobs American Legion Post 68 Veterans Day “Tee it up for Veterans” Golf Charity Event is now open to the public for Golfer Registration. The event will take place on November 9th at Magnolia Greens Golf Course, 1800 Tommy Jacobs Dr. in Leland with golfer check-in beginning at 07:30 and a shotgun start at 10:00. All funds raised during this event support Veterans and remain in the Leland Community. A golfer goody bag, door prize raffle ticket, Hole in One, Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin Contests, light breakfast and lunch are included in your entry fee of $100 Other scramble enhancements will be available upon check-in (Mulligans, throws, putting contest, additional raffle tickets, 50/50 tickets and Silent Auction). There will be Men’s, Women’s & Mixed Foursomes competing for group first place prizes. You may register online at ncpost68.org or by completing a registration form.
