LEGION RIDERS CHAPTER - POST 68
![]() |
The American Legion Riders of North Carolina are members of the American Legion who are also motorcycle enthusiasts. They are part of the American Legion Nationally sanctioned network of state and local chapters. They can be found participating in parades and motor cycling events, and supporting the communities in which they live, work, and play.
Members of the ALR come from the Legion, the Legion Auxillary, and the Sons of the American Legion. The ALR was formed to participate in parades and other ceremonies that are in keeping with the aims and purposes of the Legion; to promote motorcycle safety programs; to provide a social atmosphere for AL members who share the same interests; and to use our association to promote and support programs of the AL. The ALR is not a motorcycle club, and it does not practice m/c rules or regulations. The ALR is family-oriented as is the parent organization, the American Legion. Spouses are always welcome to ride along.
A LEGION RIDERS CHAPTER FOR POST 68!
Post 68 members Lane Adrian and Greg Miller, both avid riders, have established the Legion Riders Chapter within Post 68 as of June 2018. Interested members should contact Lane or Greg for more information. Also, if you know of any veterans who are also riders, please let them know about this effort. We may get a few new members!
